“All Heart, All Art”

Caryn Rafi is a creative redhead soul that was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She loves to get her hands into the “dirt” of the creative world.

She has had a creative soul since was little. Her parents realized she can go much further when in grade school, she was able to look at a photograph of the human heart and redraw it freely. She drove herself to creative life with the support of her family and friends. They would even help her learn how to was any form of hardware for when she wanted to build something from the ground up.

As Caryn got older, she realized the only was to keep feeding her creative soul, was to “dive” into what she wanted to learn. To self teach herself if she must.

Caryn got herself and pushed through, surpassing her family into college. She graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design with a concentration in 3D Design/Construction from the School of Visual Arts.

Caryn loves to create digitally and traditionally. She enjoys challenging herself to knew techniques to expand her knowledge in the creative world. She doesn't only just designs and illustrates, but she also work well in a workshop full of tools to create props, design outfits, models, sews, woodwork, and photographs.
Her work is often inspired by her interest in vintage, medieval, comic books, and some of the modern era along with her love for mythology.
